- The winning bidder of this item may choose one of 2 Saddlebred mares owned by Dr Karlan Downing and Ray Lemaster- Karma Arabians bred by Michele Macfarlane from champion bloodlines to produce a 2013 foal. The mares available are Belize and Casablanca Lily (see attached pedigrees). The mares may be left on our farm and will be cared for at feed cost and foaled by our Vet, or (with approved references) may be transported to your facility and returned when the foal is weaned. If this option is chosen we retain the right to ship semen for rebreeding of the mare for a 2014 foal. Mare chosen need not be insured, but the lessee is responsible for vet and routine care if the mare leaves our facility. Mare may be bred to any stallion of any breed chosen, but we will donate a breeding to one of our Arabian stallions at the buyer's request.
